A Griswold Christmas

Have you ever wondered if we take this Christmas thing a little too far? Images of Clark Griswold’s monster-sized tree or his fully covered house of lights are metaphors for taking the holiday to the extreme. But maybe God actually wanted it that way! In fact, if you read the story of Jesus’ birth in the Bible you will see it screams with extremism. Nothing about the story is normal or average. Perhaps God is using this over-the-top story to unveil the extreme lives He wants us to live as Christians. During this holiday season, we will take a close look at how this familiar story challenges us to rise up and live extraordinary lives.
