Feeding Ministry Opportunities
The following dates will be designated as Eastside Serve Nights with Uplift Them, Inc! If you are interested in serving a meal, please join us at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in New Albany between 5:15-5:30PM.
No need to sign up, just show up! You can help serve, sit and talk with people, or just be encouraging to the Uplift Them team members!

Eastside Food Pantry
We have several opportunities to serve with the Eastside Food Pantry! If you are available during a few daytime hours, we would love to have you join our team! Take a look at the position opportunities we have available:
- Food Pick Up Driver: pick up pre-ordered food at the Dare to Care location on Fern Valley Road in Louisville. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and have a truck or SUV. Pick up times will occur on Tuesdays scheduled anytime between 8AM-1PM.
- Sorter/Stocker: these volunteers will need to sort through the products to ensure it all meets food safety standards for distribution as it is unloaded from the pick-up driver. This team will organize and track products to ensure ordering can occur by Thursday afternoon for the next week. Must be able to lift items and place them on shelves and in bins.
- Guest Sign-in/Intake: these volunteers will assist people who arrive at our Food Pantry during distribution hours (Wednesdays 10am-2pm). Must be comfortable using tablet/computer and talking to guests as they come for food.
- Facilities Assistants: these volunteers will help with cleaning/sanitizing the area, checking and recording temperatures of food storage locations, and ensure proper food safety protocols are being followed.
- Food Runners: these volunteers will carry food boxes to the cars after the orders have been filled inside the building during distribution hours (Wednesdays 10am-2pm). Must be able to carry food boxes comfortably.
- Subs/Floaters: these volunteers will be available to fill in as needed in areas that cannot be covered.
